Happily, Lori and Studio 135 found each other. When her youngest son started high school, Lori wanted to re-enter the workforce with an enjoyable job. As Studio 135 owner Jessica Moore was cutting her hair, they talked about this. Jessica had an opportunity: becoming the Studio 135 receptionist and ambassador for the salon.
It was a great fit, and Lori has been at Studio 135 for a year and a half now.
“I love working at the studio and being around Jess, Heather, Hannah, and Carly,” she said. “In addition to being creative and professional stylists, they are amazing friends.”
Lori stays plenty busy, as her position includes coordinating schedules and managing the studio and the Studio 135 boutique. “I enjoy taking appointments and meeting the clients,” Lori said. “It’s a great, fun atmosphere.”
Originally from Johnson City, Lori came to Knoxville in 1992 and for ten years was a high school English teacher. She stopped teaching to concentrate on her family. She and her husband Gerald have three sons, ages 15 to 22.
When not working, Lori likes to workout and going to sporting events and concerts. She and her husband also enjoy meeting friends out for dinner.
